A fifty two -year old man from Nyamagana Village in Ukerewe District, Mwanza Region in Tanzania identified as Pastory Majura is presently receiving treatment in hospital after he attempted suicide, shortly after killing his wife.
The incident which occurred on 10th April 2020 from information gathered said that
Majura stabbed himself in the stomach using a kitchen knife after he beat up his wife, Amisuata James to death when he found her in bed with another man.

Majura caught his wife, also fifty two – year old, engaging in sexual intercourse with her paramour at 4 am on their matrimonial bed.
The victim succumbed to injuries from the beating, while the suspect was rushed to Ukerewe Hospital by neighbours for bleeding profusely.
Mwanza police boss who confirmed the incident said that the deceased’s lover managed to escape when Majura arrived home unexpectedly.
The police source added that the suspect would be arraigned once he is discharged from the hospital.
