Chukeuyekwu Ralph Igbokwe a.k.a Trouble Igbokwe is one of the fast-rising Nigerian boxers at the moment. A native of Anambra state, Igbokwe is gradually making his name up the ranks.
Just like most Nigerian boxers who move abroad in search of better exposure and training experience, Trouble Igbokwe is based in Texas, USA. He currently fights in the Super Middleweight category and is the champion in his region.
One unique thing about Igbokwe is his attachment to his roots. He wears an Igbo traditional attire while coming into the ring and is always accompanied by a masquerade. A gesture that instills fear into his opponents.
A few nights ago, Trouble Igbokwe went head to head with Venezuelan boxer Juan Carlos Rodriguez for the IBF Intercontinental Title in Costa Rica and he came out top.
Before the fight, Igbokwe took to his Twitter handle to promise his fans an early KO, and he kept to his words by knocking out his opponent as early as the 3rd round, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.
