The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Monday disclosed that the country has confirmed five hundred and nine new COVID-19 cases.
The agency made the disclosure in its daily situation report of COVID-19 on its official twitter page.
According to the agency, of the 595 cases, 156 are confirmed in Lagos, Oyo-11, FCT-99, Edo-47, Kaduna-27, Ondo-22, Rivers-20, Osun-17, Imo-13, Plateau-10, Nasarawa-8, Anambra-8, Kano-5, Benue-5, Borno-5, Ogun-4, Taraba-3, Gombe-3, Kebbi-1, Cross Rivers-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 33,153, with 13,671 discharged and 744 deaths.
