A Yoruba activist, Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho is being blasted for speaking against the Ooni of ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi.

Igboho said the oba disappointed the yoruba people for not telling President Muhammadu Buhari the truth about Killer herdsmen when he visited Asorock.

According to reports, Igboho stated this on Wednesday morning at a virtual Townhall with Yoruba in Diaspora.

The activist said the traditional ruler failed for not conveying the cry and pain of the yoruba people to president Buhari.

Recall Igboho has been in the news after he gave a seven-day quit notice ultimatum to herders in Igangan town in Ibarapa axis of Oyo and implemented his plan by chasing out Fulani herders in the community. This attracted knocks and kudos to the yoruba activist.

The Ooni of Ife after his meeting with President Buhari urged Mr Igboho not to take law into his hands. The monarch had said though it was Commendable that Igboho spoke for the people, the activist must allow the law be carried out by constituted authorities,  EKO HOT BLOG    gathered.

However, Igboho said instead of the Oba to have have conveyed the plight of the yoruba people to the president, he(Ooni) came to tackle him.

Reacting to this, some twitter users have criticised Sunday Igboho for speaking against the monarch. They said the activist was crossing his boundaries.
