Nkunku Nets First League Goal As Chelsea Defeat Bournemouth 1-0

Christopher Nkunku came off the bench to combine with debutant Jadon Sancho, sealing a 1-0 victory for Chelsea against Bournemouth.

The home side had their chances, with Evanilson’s penalty saved and both Marcus Tavernier and Ryan Christie striking the woodwork.

However, with just four minutes left in regular time, Chelsea’s substitutes made the difference, delivering a late winner for Enzo Maresca’s men.

Sancho cut in from the left flank and found Nkunku in the box, where the forward spun and calmly slotted the ball into the bottom corner, marking his first league goal of the season.

The match, full of late drama, also saw a record 14 yellow cards handed out. With the win, Chelsea have secured victories in both of their away games this season, moving up to seventh in the Premier League standings.
