- The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Kaduna State command, assured residents of Zazzau Emirate of safety.
EkohotBlog reports that this was contained in a statement that was issued on Thursday by the State Public Relation Officer (CPRO ), DSC Orndiir Terzungwe, said the State Commandant, Godwin Miebi, made the pledge when he paid a courtesy visit to Emir of Zazzau, His Royal Highness, Ahmad Nuhu Bamali
As contained in the statement, the command appreciated the unrelenting support from the Royal institution in maintaining peace among the residents of the state and appealed to the Emir to ensure the sustainability of the atmosphere in Zazzau.
He stressed that NSCDC Kaduna Command has already deployed officers across all the 23 local government areas of the State to ensure peaceful polls, devoid of violence and crisis.

“We are contributing our quota in synergy with other sister agencies to ensure that the challenges of insecurity bedeviling the state is drastically reduced.” the statement said.
The Commission warned the youths on peaceful conduct and warned that no form of misconduct will be condoned during and after the elections.
In reaction, the Emir of Zazau expressed utmost satisfaction on the performance of the corps with other security organizations; most especially in his domain in spite of challenges of inadequate manpower and equipment.
The Emir decried the rising activities of banditry, kidnapping for ransom, describing the recent murder of a pregnant woman in Zaria, as regrettable.
He also noted that perpetrators of such acts must be brought to justice to face the full wrath of the law.
