The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps paraded a father and son on Monday, accused of rap!ng a 13-year-old girl. Ibrahim Haruna, 48, and his son Abdusalam Ibrahim, 15, were identified as suspects in the case.

Eko Hot Blog reports that during a parade at the command’s headquarters in Gombe, Public Relations Officer SC Buhari Saad expressed concern over the increasing number of kidnappings in the state.

Saad stated, “We have three suspects involved in rape, gross indecency, and d3filement. Ibrahim Haruna, a 48-year-old tailor from Jekarifari, and Abdusalam Ibrahim, a 15-year-old from Jekadefari, are among them.”

The two suspects, father and son, are accused of engaging in rape, gross indecency, and d3filement. The rising number of rape cases in the state is becoming a distressing trend.

Shockingly, the father reportedly committed these heinous acts in his shop, while the son carried out similar assaults at their residence.

Tragically, the young victim, a 13-year-old girl who suffers from a mental illness, was their neighbor. The suspects allegedly took advantage of her vulnerability and subjected her to repeated s3xual abuse.

In addition to these appalling crimes, a 72-year-old man named Balarabe Suleiman from Yelanguruza was also paraded for allegedly luring a 13-year-old girl into his car and raping her multiple times.

Suleiman is said to have given the girl N200 after each horrific act, until the victim eventually disclosed the abuse to her parents. The case remains under investigation.
