#OccupyLekki: 5 Places To Avoid In Lagos Where Police May Clash With Protesters Today

 

  • The Lekki toll gate was supposed to reopen today, after the gateway was closed since the shootings there last year.
  • A judicial panel was organised to look into the shootings but there is no headway yet
  • Which is why the government ordered the reopening.

The move enraged most of the youths in the nation most especially those who put their all into the police reform protests last year, which was why another round of protests termed “Occupy Lekki Toll Gate” was organised, and the plan was to be at the Toll gate to prevent the reopening.

In response to this, heavy armed forces presence was deployed to some areas in Lagos to quell the movement, and it is advised that people steer clear of these places if possible, or be extra cautious at least to avoid been in the middle of an uprising.

The streets are; Lekki Toll Gate, Obalende, Ikoyi, Jakande Roundabout, Admiralty Plaza, and other places in Eti Osa,  EKO HOT BLOG  gathered.

So, if you are in Lagos, kindly avoid these places today as they would be hotspot for trouble
