Opinion!!! We All Killed MohBad

Today, we live in a society filled with vices that we seem to have regularised, ranging from fraud and drugs to cultism, and we even glorify them in our music daily.

Sadly, MohBad, a youngster, undoubtedly, was caught up in that web, dishing out music we could consider as “Afro Fraud”. He got signed into Marlians Record and all was going well, at least to public knowledge until the night MohBad put out a live video stating that his life was being threatened, and as a public, what did we do?

Of course, we all showed concern for a day or two, caught cruise around it, and that’s all.

The two prime suspects (according to netizens) in the case of this death are Naira Marley and Sam Larry.

In the year 2019, Naira Marley was arrested and charged to court for an alleged case of fraud, we all stood beside him and demanded that he be released. Some even protested the way we are having this #JusticeformohBad protest now.

Eventually, he got released and we took to the streets to celebrate and even mocked the government.

Sometime later, a hit track was released saying “Sam Larry ti settle e, Abu Abel ti settle e”.

Sam Larry on the other hand is an internet sensation, a friend of the entertainment industry if not a major player in the entertainment industry. He has no known talent and no valuable content, yet he has millions of followers on Instagram with thousands of comments. Who are the followers if not you and I? We enabled him to be who he is in society today.

Let us not forget, just a few months ago, another internet sensation that goes by the name DJ Chicken was “disciplined” on a live video by a group of suspected cultists on the order of a man named Abu Abel (Allegedly). We all watched, laughed and made memes from the videos without a protest.

Avoid Fraud, Drugs and Cultism.

These three things have killed a lot of people and ruined the lives of so many others.

MohBad may be gone, but let’s protect the lives of the living and unborn.
