In a significant show of support, all 33 All Progressives Congress (APC) women leaders in Oyo State have rallied behind governorship aspirant, Oloye Saheed Oladele.
The women, led by the state APC women leader, Mrs. Tinuade Adigun, gathered at the Oyo State APC Secretariat in Ibadan, wearing a uniform Ankara fabric as a symbol of their unwavering endorsement, Eko Hot Blog reports.

Addressing the women, Oloye Oladele thanked them for honoring his invitation. He lamented that politicians often use and abandon women after elections, but promised that his “fear of God” would prevent him from doing the same. He assured the women leaders that their support would not be in vain.
Mrs. Tinuade Adigun, on behalf of the women, praised Oladele’s humility, describing their gathering as a “meeting between a son and his mothers,” not a political one.
Another woman leader, Mrs. Ronke Adedeji, affirmed that they are ready to work for Oladele’s success, praying that he emerges as the party’s candidate to bring growth and development to Oyo State.
The women’s dedication was evident, with some traveling from as far as Kishi and Ilawe Ekiti to attend the meeting.
