PHOTOS: Rhodes-Vivour Casts Vote In Ikeja As Lagosians Elect Next Governor

Eko Hot Blog reports that the Labour Party (LP) governorship candidate in Lagos, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, also known as GRV, has cast his vote at PO 045 in Anifowoshe, Ikeja, Lagos State.

He is hoping to unseat the incumbent governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Mr. Abdul-Azeez Adediran of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is also in the race.

The election is expected to be hotly contested after the LP defeated the ruling party, APC, in the presidential election in Lagos.

Rhodes-Vivour has emerged as a popular candidate whose message has resonated with the teeming youths who are the backbone of the unexpected rise of the LP.

After casting his vote, the LP candidate urged residents to come out and vote, promising that his team is working to ensure maximum security.

“I just casted [sick] my vote at my Polling Unit in Anifowoshe, Ikeja State Capture must end!! Every Lagosian’s voice, lives and properties matter,” he said.

“Please come out & vote, we are working very hard & implementing security countermeasures, if you haven’t voted yet please don’t let yourself be disenfranchised, remain steadfast & please come out, thugs have been chased away in multiple areas.

“A fight for freedom is never won easily. God bless you all.”
