After a significant rift with Erik ten Hag, Jadon Sancho departed Old Trafford to rejoin his former club, Borussia Dortmund, on loan.
However, he grabbed headlines by playing a pivotal role in Dortmund’s 1-0 victory over Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of the semi-final tie.
Despite struggling for regular playing time under Ten Hag at Manchester United.

Sancho has been a key figure in the Dortmund side this season, enjoying consistent game time.
Reporters questioned Erik ten Hag on Thursday, May 3, seeking his thoughts on Jadon Sancho’s remarkable display against PSG the previous day, on Wednesday, May 2.
Ten Hag said, “So let’s say this: yesterday he played very well and he’s a very good player.
“Yesterday, he showed why Manchester United bought him and he showed he represents a high value for Manchester United. Which is good.
“I’m happy for Jadon for the performance yesterday and we will see what is going to happen in the future.”
Meanwhile, Piers Morgan, the iconic British broadcaster and Arsenal fan, has lambasted Erik ten Hag, accusing him of inadequately handling “world-class” players such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho.
