EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Yobe Police Command has confirmed that ten people were murdered and numerous others were injured in a Boko Haram terrorist attack in Geidam town on Wednesday.
On Saturday in Damaturu, the Command’s spokesman, ASP Dungus Abdulkarim, confirmed the event to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
According to him, terrorists riding motorcycles set fire to the staff quarters of a nearby public school.
“At this time, normalcy has restored and people are going about their daily lives,” he added that security officers have been deployed for patrols and visibility policing to prevent future attacks.

Abdulkarim expressed his condolences to the Geidam community for the Yobe Terrorist Attack and advised residents to report suspicious activities and people in their neighbourhoods to the police.
