Ramadan: We Have No Access To New Ramadan Lectures From Islamic Scholars

Nigerian Muslims have been complaining of not having access or listening to new Ramadan lectures, especially from that noble Islamic scholar, Al-sheik Sulaiman Farook Onikijipa.

From the first day of the month of Ramadan, old lectures from all the renowned Islamic scholars like the Mudir Markaz Al-sheikh Muhammad Habeeb-lahi Adam El-Ilory, Sheikh Sulaiman Onikijipa, Sheikh Robiu Abdul Malik (baba ) have been what the south-western citizens have been listening to as radio and television stations have no access to to the lectures from them at this period of Ramadan.

The COVID-19 pandemic has hindered these great lecturers to gather people for lectures.

The respect for the social distancing and stay-at-home order has been the cause of not creating social gathering for Ramadan lectures.

However, some lecturers do go to radio and television stations for a live lecture, but those involved in this style of lecturing are not popular.

The comments gathered from Muslim faithful around Lagos Island to Eti-Osa showed that COVID-19 has partially affected the Muslim lectures (Waasi) in this 2020 Ramadan.
