EKO HOT BLOG reports that speaking with journalists on Tuesday, the Lagos ADC Chairman, George Ashiru, praised Rhodes-Vivour’s decision, noting that he had consistently demonstrated commitment to the electorate since venturing into politics.

Naijanews gathered that Rhodes-Vivour officially dumped the Labour Party for the ADC on Saturday.

Ashiru said, “GRV has shown himself to be a champion of the electorate, from when he was a young Lagos West Senatorial candidate in 2019 to being the Labour Party gubernatorial flag bearer in 2023. His joining the ADC as part of the coalition of Nigerians into ADC is a patriotic act.”

The party chairman added that the ADC, which he described as the home of “patriots and long-suffering citizens,” was proud to have Rhodes-Vivour in its fold. He further extended an invitation to other politicians and citizens who share similar values to join the party.

According to Ashiru, Rhodes-Vivour’s defection has also attracted several members of the Lagos Labour Party, strengthening ADC’s ranks in the state.Rhodes-Vivour’s Defection From Labour Party To ADC A Patriotic Act – ADC
