Senator Mikhail Adetokunbo Abiru, representing the Lagos East Senatorial District, on Sunday, visited Ibeju-Lekki to assess the progress of the SAIL Sport and ICT Hub in Orimedu.
Accompanied by Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Senator Abiru conducted a comprehensive inspection of the site with the main contractor from FOLITECH Construction Company.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the SAIL Sport and ICT Hub, set to be a transformative development for the area, will feature a mini football stadium, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, a spectator gallery, an ICT Centre, a vocational training hall for plumbing, wiring, carpentry, and other trades, a cafeteria, and a viewing center.
Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa expressed profound appreciation on behalf of the local community, acknowledging Senator Abiru’s significant contribution to the development of Ibeju-Lekki through this project.
