Oni’s sack is coming one month after a viral video on social media showed him half-naked in a hotel room arguing with an unknown person who accused him of demanding sex from females who applied for passport renewals.
Eko Hot Blog had reported that the Nigerian Ambassador to Germany, Yusuf Tuggar, while reacting to the viral video, stated that the Nigerian embassy has “zero-tolerance policy towards abuse of office and especially of sexual misconduct.”
Tuggar had explained that investigation into the matter would be done urgently and diligently.
The Embassy, in a press statement released on Tuesday, added that the probe committee found Oni guilty of the allegations.
