Sharing Real IVF, Surrogacy Stories Can Inspire Others – Actress Opeyemi Aiyeola

Nollywood actress Opeyemi Aiyeola has urged women who have had children through IVF or surrogacy to openly share their experiences.

During a TikTok live session, Aiyeola emphasized that the role of medical assistance in these processes should not be downplayed.

She stressed the importance of honesty and transparency in personal testimonies, encouraging women to share their stories to inspire and uplift others who may be facing similar challenges. According to Aiyeola, such openness can provide hope and confidence to those considering IVF or surrogacy.

The actress also criticized incomplete or misleading testimonies that leave out critical details about the medical interventions involved, advocating for authenticity in sharing personal journeys.

She said, “Those of you who have gone through surrogacy, let people know so they can see that it works. I applaud those who openly say they had their child through surrogacy or IVF. But sharing half-truths doesn’t help anyone.”

Aiyeola further commented on what she sees as a tendency for people to omit medical support from their testimonies, labeling it misleading. “Let’s address this sensitive and controversial issue head-on.

While I believe in God’s miracles, many believers fail to acknowledge the medical interventions they received, which is wrong and deceptive. We must remember that there are many vulnerable and desperate individuals looking for hope.”
