Technology Crucial for ARISE Agenda Pillars, Affirms Governor Eno

Eko Hot Blog reports that the Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has emphasized that technology remains critical to achieving the core pillars of the ARISE Agenda, the economic blueprint of his administration.

Speaking on Tuesday during the landing of the 2Africa submarine fibre optic cable by MAINONE company at Qua Iboe beach in Ibeno LGA, Eno stressed that the cable will provide high-speed broadband infrastructure in Akwa Ibom.

He urged youths to utilize the infrastructure to explore their potentials in information and communication technology (ICT).

“The ICT sector is of special interest to us as a state. Technology is critical to the attainment of the core pillars of the ARISE Agenda which is the economic blueprint of this administration,” Eno stated.

The governor added: “This high-speed broadband infrastructure in Akwa Ibom will enable our youths to work and earn money from their living rooms.”

Eno reassured MAINONE of support to operate freely in the state’s waterways. He promised to partner with creative entrepreneurs to enable them thrive.
