According to reports, the attack was carried out by suspected members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state. The hoodlums were said to have destroyed the campaign vehicles of the candidate, as seen in photos that have emerged online.
It is not clear at the moment if Harrison sustained any injuries during the attack. The LP candidate has been actively involved in human rights advocacy in the state and is known for his efforts in fighting against injustice and oppression.
This incident has sparked outrage among supporters of the LP and other political parties in the state. Many have condemned the use of violence in political campaigns and have called for a peaceful and fair election.
The attack on Harrison is not an isolated one as earlier today a Labour Party candidate of Surulere district in Lagos, Olumide Owore was attacked during his political campaign. This has raised concerns about the safety of candidates and supporters during the forthcoming elections.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has condemned the use of violence and called on all political parties and candidates to abide by the rules and regulations guiding the conduct of elections in the country.
