Marcus Rashford of Manchester United has been valued as the most expensive footballer in the world as per CIES Football Observatory’s valuation.
The International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES) is an independent study centre located in Switzerland. Using a multi-disciplinary approach, CIES provides research, top-level education and consulting services to the sports world.
In its latest release of list of most expensive players, Rashford is said to be valued around €165M, making him the current most valuable player in the world.
Coming in second position is Erling Haaland of Borrusia Dortmund. He is valued at €152M.
Trent Alexander Arnold occupies the 3rd position while Bruno Fernandes is at 4th position.

Coming surprisingly in 5th position is PSG star, Kylian Mbappe. He’s reportedly worth €149M.
Other players in the list include: Borrusia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho, Joao Felix of Atletico Madrid, Alphonso Davies, Raheem Sterling and Kai Havetz.
English Premier League players dominated the list with 4 players, Bundesliga has 3 players, the French Ligue 1 and La Liga have one player each.
