EKO HOT BLOG reports that Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) has claimed to have uncovered a plot to destroy the military assets of the defending forces.
The SBU reported on Tuesday that a pair of Russian agents from eastern Ukraine had been trying to find information about critical infrastructure assets in the central Poltava Oblast.

The pair were seeking the locations of Ukraine’s air defence installations, HIMARS systems and M777 howitzers.
They had been promised a £16,000 bounty each for the successful destruction of the military assets, to be received on “specially opened bank cards immediately” after the completion of their tasks.

According to the SBU report, “the employees of the Security Service prevented sabotage – timely exposed, documented and stopped the criminal activities of the members of the enemy’s intelligence network in Kremenchuk.”
