The body of the Late broadcaster and Radio presenter, Sunday Olufemi Alakinde, has been laid to rest at his home in Ilesha.
The late broadcaster died in a ghastly motor accident while returning from a concert at Ede, in a bid to resume duty at Unique FM 103.1 Ilesha, where he would be reading newspaper reviews in Yoruba called Ojutole Ojutoko.
EKO HOT BLOG gathered that he had an accident at the Gold FM junction, in Iloko-Ijesha, two other occupants of the vehicle who were SIWES IT students also died in the process.
Thousands of his fans and mourners gathered at his residence to pay him the last respect.
The speaker of the State House of Assembly, Hon. Timothy Owoeye who represented the State Governor, described the sudden death of the late radio presenter as a huge loss to the state and the Unique FM at particular.
According to him, the crowd at the burial is clear evidence of the good character of the deceased, he promised to support the family the deceased left behind.
Meanwhile, the state government has commiserated with the family, staff, and management of unique Radio, Ilesha over the death of the late Broadcaster.
Until his death, he was the National Publicity Secretary of FIBAN in Nigeria. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
