Wike has made a fresh appointment amid PDP crisis.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Governor Nyesom Wike on Wednesday announced the reappointment of Dr. Tammy Danagogo as the Secretary to the Rivers State Government.

The appointment was contained in a statement issued by the media aide to the Governor, Kelvin Ebiri.
According to him, the appointment is with immediate effect.
This online media gathered Danagogo occupied the same position in Wike’s cabinet before resigning to contest the 2023 governorship primary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He however lost out in the race to Wike’s anointed candidate and former Accountant General of the State, Siminialaye Fubara.
Notwithstanding, the Governor has restored him to his previous position.
The statement to that effect reads: “His Excellency, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, the Executive Governor of Rivers State has approved the re-appointment of Dr.Tammy Wenike Danagogo as the Secretary to the Rivers State Government (SSG).
“The appointment takes immediate effect.”
Meanwhile, the meeting between the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike on Tuesday was unable to reach a truce on the crisis rocking the major opposition party.
The members of the BoT met with Wike at the Government House in Port Harcourt, the state capital.
