Brian Michael McGhee is a cold-blooded killer. To wrestling fans, he may not be a familiar name. He competed under the ring name DT Porter in the Florida Championship Wrestling developmental territory of WWE after signing with the organization in 2010. Without being called up to the main roster, he was released in 2012. While McGhee didn’t make it to the top of the wrestling industry, he nevertheless made headlines when he fatally stabbed his ex-girlfriend to death on 25 July 2013.

In her apartment building, his longtime partner, Bianca McGaughey, was brutally stabbed in the neck and torso in front of witnesses. McGhee uploaded a picture of her bloody arm after taking her life as his Facebook profile photo. He was sentenced to life in jail, and he’s spending time behind bars at the moment.

Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka allegedly murdered WWE Wrestlers’ wife Nancy Risky. For his time with WWF (now WWE) during the 1980s, Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka is known. A few hours after his game, on 10 May 1983, Snuka called an ambulance for his girlfriend, Nancy Argentino, who was injured. Due to craniocerebral trauma, Nancy passed away. While charges were not brought against him at the time, a 1985 default judgment ruled that Snuka was liable for the death of Nancy. He was indicted and convicted of third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter in 2015, 32 years after the incident. However, he wasn’t arrested and walked away until his death in 2017, a free man.

Verne Gagne

In the early days of wrestling, Verne Gagne was one of the biggest names. He was also the owner of the now-defunct Association of American Wrestling (AWA). Gagne got into an argument with his roommate at the nursing home, Helmut Gutmann, in 2009. He smashed the latter into the floor with his body, then fractured his hip by pulling his body around. Gutmann was admitted to the hospital and died of complications from the injury the next month. The death has legally ruled a homicide, but he was not criminally charged because of Gagne’s dementia.

Not even Great Khali, the former world champion, could keep his hands clean. By many, Great Khali is considered to be one of the worst wrestlers in WWE history. Unfortunately for him, it was even worse for Khali in All Pro Wrestling. After getting a flapjack from Khali in 2001, APW wrestler Brian Ong died. Ong, who had a concussion previously, was involved in a fight with the former World Champion of the WWE and took two successive flapjacks to land him in the hospital. A complaint against APW was brought by Ong’s family and they were paid over $1.3 million in damages.

#4 New Jack

New Jack is a psychopath

For his tenure with ECW, New Jack is notorious for his ability to take dangerous bumps and his stiff hardcore wrestling style. The former took out a metal blade from his clothing during the match and stabbed Lane 14 times. For the incident, New Jack faced different felony charges. He was also involved in the 1996 Mass Transit Attack, where he bladed Eric Kulas, an untrained 17-year-old, so severely that the boy was left with his blood in a tub. The latter, due to complications from gastric bypass surgery, died years later.

The death of two wrestlers was the fault of Ox Baker, but he never faced any charges. With his finisher, The Heart Punch, Ox Baker killed not one but two people accidentally. In 1971, Baker and his partner wrestled against Alberto Torres and “Cowboy” Bob Ellis in a tag team match. During the match, Torres was injured and died after taking the Heart Punch three days later. Baker lost a match to Ray Gunkel a year later, and Gunkel died in the locker room after the match. Ox Baker was never charged or blamed for the events and his rise to the pro wrestling scene was never hindered either.

#2 Scott Hall

Scott Hall admittedly killed a man

One of the darkest people in the company is WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall. In 1983, Hall got into a fight outside a nightclub with a man. Hall wrestled him until he got hold of the weapon after the man pulled out a grenade, and he went on to shoot the man dead. Owing to a lack of evidence, the NWO member was not charged with murder, but he confessed he killed the man in an ESPN interview.

#1 Chris Benoit

Before committing suicide, Chris Benoit killed his wife and his son. Former WWE wrestler Chris Benoit murdered his wife Nancy and his son before committing suicide in 2007 in one of the most shocking things in pro wrestling history.
