Moussa Dembélé has caused worry amongst football fans, after the Atletico Madrid striker suddenly fainted whilst stretching during training.
The former Lyon striker, who moved to La Liga in January on loan, with an option to make the deal permanent, has played just four times for Diego Simeone’s side.
Dembélé was seen stretching when he eventually fell backwards to the ground. His colleagues quickly called out to medical staff for help.
According to reports the former Lyon striker eventually regained consciousness and was able to walk off the pitch on his own, but will continue to be monitored and will undergo medical tests later today.
The French striker was captured in another video driving home with a smile on his face, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.
The striker was a January arrival at the Wanda Metropolitano from Olympique Lyonnais and he is one of the many players at the club who had been diagnosed with Covid-19 – causing him to miss a run of three matches last month.
Dembélé has so far featured in just 87 minutes of action for Atleti and he remains an understudy to main forward duo Luis Suarez and Joao Felix.
