Mudryk Drops Fresh Arsenal Transfer Hint After Chelsea Enter Race

Mudryk has dropped a fresh Arsenal transfer hint amid interest from Chelsea.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Mykhailo Mudryk has dropped another Arsenal transfer hint as he streamed their Premier League clash with Brighton and called Mikel Arteta a ‘top coach’.

Premier League leaders Arsenal look to be at the front of the queue to sign Mudryk, although their London rivals Chelsea have also joined the transfer race and are hoping to bring the Ukrainian to Stamford Bridge.

Mudryk has enjoyed a breakthrough season for Shakhtar Donetsk, scoring seven goals in the league and three in the Champions League.

The 21-year-old could be on the move in January, although Shakhtar have slapped a £85m asking price on his head, having rejected a £55m bid from Arsenal in December.

Mudryk has not been shy of praising Arsenal and watched on as Arteta’s side travelled to Brighton on New Year’s Eve looking to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table.

The Ukraine international posted a short video on Instagram which showed him streaming the game with the caption ‘2 top coaches’.

Mudryk is clearly an admirer of former Manchester City assistant manager Arteta and Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi, who he worked under at Shakhtar Donetsk.

Arsenal were handed a timely boost just before their clash with Brighton as title rivals Manchester City dropped two points at home to Everton.

The Gunners took an early lead against Brighton, Bukayo Saka continuing his fine form with a goal inside two minutes.
