Eyewitnesses revealed that three unknown gunmen, travelling in a Toyota Prado SUV, orchestrated the kidnap.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that in a swift response to the abduction of a 52-year-old Turkish national, Erdogan Guler, and another individual by unidentified gunmen on Wednesday night, the Anti-Kidnapping outfit of the FCT Police Command has commenced a comprehensive investigation and rescue operation.
According to a senior police officer, a team of operatives has been deployed to Kubwa, where they will collaborate with local policemen under the Area Command.

The incident occurred around 7 pm when the assailants, armed with firearms, trailed the Turkish national and his companion to an estate in Kubwa, situated off the Expressway. The perpetrators then forcibly abducted them from the premises at gunpoint.
Upon learning of the incident, the Byazhin Division Police Station in Abuja received a report about the abduction. Eye-witnesses revealed that three unknown gunmen, travelling in a Toyota Prado SUV, executed the kidnapping at Leaner Estate, Brickcity, Kubwa, where the Turkish national resided.

The senior police officer emphasized that the ongoing efforts aim not only to rescue the kidnapped victims but also to apprehend the culprits and uncover the masterminds behind this heinous act.
The FCT Police Command has intensified its operations in response to the rising incidence of abductions, particularly targeting foreign nationals. Law enforcement agencies are collaborating with various security outfits to ensure the safety and security of all residents in the Abuja metropolis.
The Turkish Embassy in Nigeria has been notified of the abduction, and diplomatic channels have been activated to facilitate the safe rescue of Erdogan Guler. The Turkish government has expressed grave concern over the incident and pledged its full support to the Nigerian authorities in their rescue efforts.
The FCT Police Command has urged members of the public to remain vigilant and promptly report any suspicious activities or information that could aid in the swift resolution of the case. The police have assured citizens that no stone will be left unturned in ensuring the rescue of the kidnapped victims and the prosecution of the perpetrators.
