Eko Hot Blog reports that the lawmaker representing Ibeju-Lekki, Hon. Oladele Ajayi, has once again demonstrated his commitment to grassroots development through a mega empowerment initiative and cash donation to over 120 residents to enable them to start businesses.

The initiative, described by many as a transformative approach, is aimed at raising entrepreneurs, stimulating indigenous businesses, and fostering innovation within Ibeju-Lekki.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Ajayi, popularly known as Oladbaba, said his vision is to uplift his people by giving them sustainable means of livelihood.
“My focus remains on the people of Ibeju-Lekki. I am committed to supporting our youths, women, and men with opportunities that can transform their lives.”
Beneficiaries of the scheme expressed their appreciation, describing the empowerment as a life-changing opportunity. One of them, Mrs. Aminat Adesanya, noted,
“This support will go a long way in helping me establish my business. I am grateful to Hon. Ajayi for thinking about people like us.”
Community leaders also commended the initiative, highlighting its potential to boost local commerce. Chief Adewale Odusanya remarked, “Oladbaba is exceptional, no gainsaying.
His consistency in bringing tangible benefits to Ibeju-Lekki deserves accolades.”
Residents have called for continued support to enable more people to benefit, noting that the program is a great step in the right direction.
