- No Scheme Can Stop Tinubu’s Re-election
Political chieftain Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has declared that no amount of political scheming or blackmail will stop President Bola Ahmed Tinubu from winning a second term in 2027.
Kwankwaso made the remarks in response to recent political violence, which included an alleged thug attack on former Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, and a disrupted meeting of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kaduna, Eko Hot Blog reports.

Kwankwaso described the incidents as politically motivated schemes intended to tarnish President Tinubu’s image and hurt his re-election ambitions. He argued that the president’s performance, particularly on security, will prove more important than any political plots.

Kwankwaso pointed to improved security on the Kaduna-Abuja expressway and the pressure on bandits in the Northwest as evidence of Tinubu’s progress.
He also cited key appointments of Northerners, such as National Security Advisor Nuhu Ribadu and Chief of Defence Staff General Christopher Musa, as proof of the president’s commitment to the region.
According to Kwankwaso, the president’s scorecard, which includes numerous infrastructural projects, will always speak for him.
