At the closing ceremony held at Stephen Keshi Stadium, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State urged the National Sports Commission (NSC) to take swift action against age cheating in the Games to preserve their credibility and ensure fairness.

The governor described the tournament as a celebration of unity, discipline, and excellence, praising the athletes for their resilience and courage, whether or not they won medals.
He noted that the competition not only upheld Delta’s tradition of sporting excellence but also showcased emerging talents across Nigeria.
