Khamis Musa, a staunch supporter of President Tinubu from Bauchi State, has pledged his entire September salary to help fund a special project close to her heart.
The First Lady, who turns 65 on September 21, 2025, has asked well-wishers to redirect birthday gifts, cards, and newspaper messages into a dedicated account, Eko Hot Blog reports.

The funds will go towards the completion of the long-abandoned National Library project, which she has described as the best birthday present she could receive.

According to Musa, he felt a strong need to support her cause because he believes the First Lady genuinely cares for Nigeria’s education sector.
His donation, he says, is a personal contribution to building the nation’s intellectual heritage.
This is not the first time Musa has demonstrated his loyalty; he previously donated his NYSC allowance to support the president’s campaign and even named his daughter after the president’s mother.
