Information Ministry Dismisses Court’s Judgement On NBC
A Federal High Court in Abuja has stopped the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) from imposing fines on broadcast stations. The court held that NBC lacks the power to impose sanctions as punishment on alleged erring broadcast stations.
