The Minister of Education Dr. Maruf Olatunji Alausa has commended the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, for marking her 65th birthday with a symbolic gesture aimed at reviving the nation’s educational sector.

Eko Hot Blog reports that rather than accept personal gifts, Senator Tinubu requested that well-wishers contribute to the National Library Fund, a move Dr. Alausa described as “visionary and deeply patriotic.”

Joined by the Minister of State for Education, Professor Suwaiba Sa’id Ahmad, Alausa praised the First Lady’s action as a reflection of her long-standing dedication to education and national development.
