Speaking to the new members, Alli heavily criticized the current administration of Governor Biodun Oyebanji. He claimed that nothing is working in the state, citing “deplorable” roads and what he called “white elephant projects.”
Alli also criticized the governor for spending state resources on over 3,000 special assistants and senior special assistants without clear job descriptions.

Alli assured residents that he has the experience to bring about a positive change. He promised that his administration would prioritize education, agriculture for food security, and infrastructure development. He also pledged to use the state’s natural assets for tourism to generate revenue.
Both the ADC State Deputy Chairman, Dare Adekolu, and State Chairman, Omolayo Ilesanmi, praised Alli’s competence and expressed confidence that he will win the election.
