The governor revealed that intelligence reports uncovered a coordinated plan by some individuals to undermine his government through both propaganda and violence.

While he urged political leaders to rein in their supporters, he also appealed to his own followers, telling them to maintain peace and avoid confrontation. “My aspiration is not worth the precious blood of any Ekiti person,” Oyebanji stated.
Oyebanji also addressed concerns about the poor condition of some federal roads, cautioning residents against “fifth columnists” who are using the situation for political blackmail. He acknowledged that some roads require urgent attention but insisted that his government has already rehabilitated alternative routes.
The governor assured residents that the federal government is actively working to address the road issues.
