The Nigerian military has killed at least 30 terrorists in a coordinated air and ground operation at Dar-El-Jamal village, located in the Bama Local Government Area of Borno State.
In a statement on Saturday, the spokesman for the Nigerian Air Force (NAF), Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, confirmed the successful mission, which followed reports on September 5 that terrorists were heavily engaging friendly forces, Eko Hot Blog reports.

NAF quickly responded by deploying an Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission, which uses specialized equipment to gather information. The aircrew identified terrorists fleeing north from the town into nearby bushes.
In a series of three precise strikes, the NAF decisively engaged and killed the fleeing insurgents. Reinforcement troops from the ground then arrived to secure the area and stabilize the situation.
The coordinated effort between air and ground forces highlighted the seamless synergy between the military branches.
Ejodame stated that the operation reinforces the Nigerian Armed Forces’ strong resolve to dismantle terrorist networks and restore lasting peace to the North East.
