U.S. President Donald Trump has denied growing speculations about his health, saying he remained active.

Eko Hot Blog retrieves that Trump explained that he was “very active” throughout the Labor Day weekend with media engagements and a visit to his golf course in Virginia.

Trump, who is 79, addressed the rumours on Tuesday while speaking to journalists at the Oval Office. He dismissed claims circulating on social media suggesting something was wrong with him or even that he had passed away as baseless.

He expressed frustration at how quickly stories about his health emerged simply because he wasn’t seen in public for a couple of days.

“I held several press briefings last week, then took just two days off and suddenly people are saying something must be wrong with me,” Trump explained.

“It’s completely false. They ask, ‘Is he alright? How’s he doing? Is something the matter?’ It’s all made-up talk.”

The speculation on social media intensified after Trump’s public calendar appeared empty towards the end of last week.

The chatter grew louder when Vice President JD Vance, in an interview with USA Today, said he believed Trump was in “good shape” but added that he was ready to step up if necessary.
