According to the Content Marketing Association, organisers of the ICMA, Udoh was chosen for his outstanding contributions to branding and content marketing. This appointment adds to a growing list of international recognitions for Udoh. Earlier in the year, he was named the only African finalist for the Native Advertising Marketer of the Year award. He also served on the Grand Jury of the AME Awards, contributed as a juror at the 2025 Effie Awards South Africa, and participated in the International ECHO Awards in the United States.

Colleagues in Nigeria’s creative industry have hailed the appointment as a milestone for African representation in global marketing. One senior brand strategist noted, “His seat on the ICMA jury shows that African professionals can compete at the very top, bringing our unique perspectives to the table.”

For Udoh, the recognition is also a call to inspire younger practitioners. He has often urged upcoming marketers to invest in creativity, research, and storytelling that resonates with both local and global audiences.

As ICMA 2025 approaches, Udoh will sit alongside other top professionals from around the world to assess innovative campaigns in digital, print, and multimedia content marketing. His appointment is being celebrated not only as a personal triumph but also as proof that African voices are increasingly shaping international conversations in the creative economy.
